Visual Automation for visual production at scale
Visual Automation is the automation of recurring visual production. We connect product data, fixed workflows, 3D, and AI to a production system that delivers consistent visuals, while our designers monitor style, quality, and final quality control. If your product, assortment, or request changes, the visuals adapt accordingly.
More visual output, less manual work
Every visual follows the same frameworks for style, composition, and branding, even across hundreds of variants.
If your data changes, the output changes with it, without new production per frame.
Our designers determine where the system is allowed to move and approve every step before it proceeds.
This is how a Visual Automation System
Every system is configured differently, but the logic remains the same: first check, then scale up.
Establishing frameworks and rights.
Our designers define the parameters within which the system is allowed to operate: which requirements the output must meet, which variables may change, and what it must never do. Everything the system generates afterward remains within those boundaries.
Check input.
Is the data correct, is it clean, and are the templates or 3D models accurate? Only when that is the case does the system get to work.
Inspect test batch.
First, the system creates a small selection or a single visual, depending on the case. We check these against our quality standards. Only after approval is the system allowed to scale up.
Scaling up and delivering.
Subsequently, the system processes everything at once, renames files according to your naming convention, and delivers at a pace that suits you, for example, weekly. This can be end-to-end automated: new input arrives automatically, for example via a webhook or a linked folder, and approved output goes automatically to the location where you work with it.
The number of steps and control points vary per case. In one, a single visual is the test case, while in another, it is an entire batch.
We create the images themselves with the same teams that also handle your 3D visualization and 3D animation .

What you automate
Product renders.
Consistent images per product variant, without new production each time.
Configurator images.
Visuals that adapt to your customer's choices.
Advertisement and campaign variants.
Hundreds of variants in multiple formats, linked to your assortment or channel.
Marketing assets.
Recurring images for channels, trade shows, and sales materials, from a single source.
Quotation visualizations.
Personalized images accompanying a quotation, based on product specifications and, for example, a location photo. We develop this together with clients and check each image for quality and technical accuracy.
From practice
For a foodservice organization with a large, constantly changing assortment, all product information is structured in a single database. Before the system runs, we check whether the data is accurate, clean, and if the templates are correct. A test batch then follows. Once everything is approved, the system processes all templates at once, renames them, and delivers them weekly. This generates up to 400 ad variants per quarter, linked to the current assortment. If the assortment changes, the output adjusts automatically.
Visual Automation, creative automation or an AI tool?
| Visual Automation | Creative automation software | AI image generator | Product configurator | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | Production system that we set up with you | Platform for templates and feeds, especially for advertisements | Generates images based on a prompt | Interactive tool that allows customers to configure a product themselves |
| Control | Designers determine in advance where the system is allowed to move and approve every step | Templates and rules in the tool | Changes without fixed frames per prompt | Rules for product properties |
| Strong in | Consistent, high-quality visuals from product data, including 3D | Quickly create many ad formats | Quick ideas and loose images | Choices and price for the customer |
For whom it works
Product information that changes frequently requires visuals that evolve with it. This aligns with our approach to visualizing complex information.
Frequently Asked Questions about Visual Automation
Automating recurring visual production. Data, workflows, 3D, and AI deliver consistent visuals, while our designers safeguard style and quality.
Software gives you a tool to fill templates. We build the system, define the framework, and provide the creative direction and 3D production.
Only what our designers have approved in advance. We define the requirements the output meets, what is allowed to vary and what is not. Beyond that, the system generates nothing.
Product data (database, spreadsheet, or PIM), 3D or CAD files, existing images, your corporate identity, and the desired formats. Not everything needs to be ready; we will assess together what is usable.
By establishing frameworks for style, composition, and color in advance. Every output follows those frameworks and is checked by our designers.
Our designers and motion designers, at fixed intervals: first the input and a test batch, then the output coming from the system. Where and how often we approve varies per case. Only approved output goes to delivery.
The system updates the output based on the changed data.
Where possible, yes, for example via webhooks or linked folders. During the introductory meeting, we will discuss which systems you use.
We determine that in advance for each project.
That depends on the number of outputs, the quality of your data, and the connections. We will provide a schedule after the initial meeting.
That depends on the possibilities and difficulties per case and per variation. We tailor the system setup to your case: a simple application is accessible, while a more complex case with more variations requires more work and therefore costs more. In addition, you pay a monthly fee for maintaining and keeping the system up to date, depending on its extent. This is in addition to the hours required to check and correct output.
For a one-off image or story, animation or 3D visualization is better. Automation pays off for recurring output.
