Anyone taking out a mortgage, renovating, making a home more sustainable, or modifying a mortgage often requires a home valuation. Normally, this means an appointment with an appraiser, a home visit, and waiting for the report. Calcasa developed Desktop Valuation as a fast and affordable alternative and wanted to clearly explain how it works.
In a 2D explainer animation lasting over two minutes, we follow the application step by step. You choose your mortgage lender, enter the details, and Desktop Taxatie checks whether the property can be valued within the conditions. After confirmation, an independent appraiser reviews the valuation proposal using extensive property and market information. The appraisal report arrives in your email within four hours, and if the appraiser rejects the valuation, you receive your money back immediately.
The animation centers on the two main reasons: speed and low costs. Additionally, it shows that the Desktop Valuation is accepted by NHG and almost all mortgage lenders, and that Calcasa's service was awarded the title of most innovative service in 2021. Read also how to show an application process step by step. Later, we also created animated ads for consumers.
